Sunday morning worship
was held in the Huronview
auditorium, with Reverend
Pick in charge.
Mr. Pick chose to speak
about his experiences from
his youth, through his teen
years and on to college when
his decision to become a
minister was made. During
these trying years, he
related many happy tunes
and sad ones that had occur-
red.
We are pleased to hear
that Sara Ritchie has return-
ed from hospital.
Monday afternoon old time
music was cancelled, Alf An-
drus and some of his visitors
presented an impromtu
musical. With piano and ac-
cordion, they played several
instrumentals and led in
group singing.
Tuesday afternoon,
Reverend Gordon Simmons
of the Anglican Church, con-
ducted service in the chapel.
Geri Fashions from Lon-
ated tF
don were here and set up
their display of garments,
featuring many fall ideas.
The auditorium had the ap-
pearance of any clothing
shop. Residents and staff
had the opportunity of pur-
chasing just about anything
that appealed to them.
Several residents went for
a van ride Wednesday morn-
ing, and at noon, chore than
25 gathered in the
auditorium for a chicken din-
ner. Thanks to Dixie Lee who
11 fashins
catered this meal of -
chicken and salads. Our own
girls waited on tables and
saw to it, that no one went
away hungry.
The craft room sponsored
another successful Tupper-
ware party. Several new and
interesting items were on
display, and a great chance
to shop early for Christmas.
Mid -week Bible study was
held Thursday afternoon
with Mrs. M. Prouty in
