Horses played a vital role in the early days of farming and
the Blyth reunion brings in many fine animals. The four
and six horse hitchs are a main attraction at the show.

This picture, taken in 1972 shows the machine that
Walter Roczek of Burton, Michigan has brought to Blyth
since the reunion began 22 years ago.
The menacing, huge saw blade will be shown in action at lumber sawing demonstrations at this weekend's events in Blyth.

are introducing many new
and valuable improvements,
which will place our
machines far in advance of
any others manufactured in
the Dominion. We especially
call the attention of our
threshers to our Climax
Separator, with the New End
Shake Shoe, which, for
smoothness of running,
capacity and perfection of
cleaning, far surpasses
anything yet produced. It

has been thoroughly tested,
has proved a complete
success, and is fully
warranted.
Read the following
testimonial - "It is with
pleasure I testify to the
superiority of your New End
Shake Climax Separator. I
thoroughly tested it last
season and can say that it
runs the smoothest and
lightest, has the largest
capacity for separating and
cleaning and does the best
work of any machine I have
seen yet. It is quite un-
necessary to brace the
machine. All that is required
is to set it in place, when it is
ready for work and it will run
without jar or noise. I would
not have any other than the
New End Shake Climax." -
John Aikenhead, Brucefield.
Many other im-
provements, such as
lowering the front (or
Cylinder) end of the
machine, adding a tightener
pulley to Fanning Mill Belt,
windlass for raising the
Straw Carriers, improved
"Concave Adjuster," etc.
have been made, which will
add largely to the worth of
machine.
Our Pitt's Power have
been improved in various
ways, still further adding to
their durability, convenience
and ease of running.
All machinery is run and
carefully tested before
leaving the factory.

A popular saying among
wives and families of steam
enthusiasts is, "The only
difference between men and
boys, is the size (some say
price), of their toys."
Ardent steam buffs can be
heard to reply with a shrug
of their shoulders, "Can't
help it, it's in my blood."
The steam era started a
comeback on a bright, sunny
day in August, 1957, when a
handful of enthusiastic buffs
gathered at the farm of
Stuart Hunter near Cour-
tright, Ontario, to share their
memories, knowledge and of
