Bartlett and Associates to see if some advice could be obtained. Gravel pit licence ap- plications were approved for Martin Steenstra, George Troyer, K.G. Merner, Lakeland Sand and Stone and G.M. Lavis. An amending agreement, as an addendum to the original, was presented by W.M. Prest regarding the S.A.M. subdivision or Plan 502. It was moved that the reeve and the clerk sign the agreement and that the solicitor see that both the original and the amending agreements are registered. A motion was passed to apply for the township road subsidy. Four tenders were opened for the supply of a steel culvert to be used in the Batkin-Dempsey Municipal Drain. The lowest tender, which was that of Corrugated at $1,375.78, was accepted subject to approval of the Township of Stanley which has the option of supplying and installing it. The tender of Coldstream Concrete was the only one received for the supply of tile, etc for the Batkin- Dempsey Drain. It was accepted by council with shipping times to be arranged with the con- tractor, Posthill Drainage.
