There, now that the sales pitch is over, we'll get down to the news of the week. Six of our loyal members went to Seek $250,000 GODERICH - October has been declared hospital month in Goderich and the campaign has begun to raise $250,000 of the estimated $500,000 cost of a new Intensive Care Unit at Alexandra Marine and General Hosptial. ,The remaining money will come from the hospital's reserve fund. Once the fund raising efforts are completed, the project should get underway next spring and be com- pleted by September of next year. Dundalk last week to par- ticipate articipate in a cribbage tourna- ment and canal home win- ners and champions. George and Minlue Rumball, Eric and Marg Switzer, John Deeves and Doris.. Chambers all participated in this event. George and Minlue Caine out the overall champions of the tournament and were presented with two very nice trophies.Eric won the distinction of winning the high hand for the day mak- ing it an overall resounding success for Branch 140.
