They have two daughters, Ruth (Mrs. Clayton Hodgins) of Clinton and Iva (Mrs. Rick Newman of Mississauga; five grand- children and three great grandchildren. (News -Record photo) Hullett Happenings Kindergartens go on trip Newspaper team The people who write Hullett Happenings are students from Grade 7. The advisors are Mr. Talbot and Mr. A.N. MacLennan. The editors are Lisa Preszcator and Jennifer Sottiaux, and the reporters are Lisa Boonstoppel, Kim Scott, Stephen Duizer and Janet. Wilts. Soccer in Clinton The Hullett Soccer teams recently attended Clinton for an exhibition game. The girls team played Clinton and won 2 to 1. The boys unfortunately lost 4-0 against the Clinton boys. Kindergarten trip On September 30th, both kindergarten classes of Hulletf Central School went on a field trip to Brussels. The classes were taken to an apple orchard called the Maitsille Orchard, where they went con a conducted tour in which the children saw many different kinds of trees and storage rooms where the apples are kept. The pupils each received a bag of windfall apples to take home with them and share with the rest of their family. They all hada lot of fun. Pupils in play This summer, eight people from Hullett School were in a play in Grand Bend called "The Music Man". The eight people were Jane Anderson, Carolyn Dourghty, Lisa Duizer, Stephen Duizer, Jeff McNairn, Angel Shneider, Darlene Hulley and Jennifer Sottiaux. It was a good experience for the people working in a professional play. It was a very good play, and if you have seen it, I'm sure you would think the same thing. Communion held Communion service was held on Sunday morning. Greeting were Garnet Wright and Bert Lyon. Ushers were John• Cart- wright, Larry Gross, Russell Nesbitt and Gary Wilts. Rev. Scott welcomed all and gospel song was held. The choir anthem was "Sweet Jesus" sung by Cheryl Lyon, Diana Shob- brook, Susan Jamieson, Suzanne Tamblyn, Laurel and Lisa Duizer, accom- panied by organist Barbara Bosman. The children's story was "A nametag on display is Supper meet held by 4-H The third meeting of chicks and the roosters was held at the home of Marjorie Duizer where all discussed the egg, and its parts and prepared Quiche. cabbage salad and Baked Alaska which the 18 members ate at the supper meeting.
