The Clinton Public Hospital board of gover-
nors and staff have a great concern for
patient care and"wish to improve that care
through an addition and renovation program.
WHY EXPAND?
Our emergency, out-patient clinic, X-ray and
physiotherapy departments..are not large
enough to -handle the -ever increasing deman-
ds being placed on them. In addition, there is
a need for centralized documentation and
record keeping to serve these areas.
NEW EMERGENCY

patient care, puts considerable strain on the
existing facility. Additional space has to be
provided.
NEW X-RAY
The present X-ray department has to share
the diminishing space with the Emergency
Department.
PHYSIOTHERAPY
As with the other areas, the physio depar-
tment is also working in a limited area.

YOUR COMMUNITY HOSPITAL
We all have our own expectations of hospital
care. When it comes to your local hospital, the
government is limited to what it can do by
provincial budget guidelines. It is only
through donations from individuals, service
organizations and associations that the
hospital is able to purchase capital equipment
to keep our facility up to date. We know you
care. We need your help.
VOLUNTARY BOARD
Local people, members of the Board, manage
your hospital. They receive no pay, donating
their time and talents to serve the community
nsure that the community has the
medical care it deserves.
WISING COMMITTEE
ember jA' your community have pledged
it sup t' to assist your hospital with its
'rid ' rt campaign. If you have any
or
, would like more information,

QUALITY OF CARE
Each individual makes a personal decision as
to how they can make their community a bet-
ter place in which to live. One way is by en-
suring that your local hospital has adequate
facilities and equipment.
YOUR CONCERN
The quality of hospital care in your community
is your concern. Your generosity in assisting
us to improve our service to the community is
much appreciated.
YOUR PLEDGE
The support of everyone is needed and we
hope to make personal contact with each
family.
However, a Pledge Card may be completed
and returned in the envelope available, if you
prefer.
There will be a number of special events
sponsored by various organizations in the
area. Your support of these events is en-
couraged.
