She wore a white floor length gown with lace' corsage in shades of purple. Mr. and Mrs. McPherson will reside in Toronto. Prior to her wedding, the bride was feted at a girlfriend shower given by Sandy Mabon and Beth Feagan at Mrs. Jean MacEwan's home; at a relative shower hosted by her aunt, Mrs. Gail Bowra and cousin, Debbie Bowra at the home of Miss Mildred Scott; and at a Benmiller community shower organized by Marlene and Connie Baer, Phyllis Feagan and Doreen Willis. A wine and barbecue party was given by Mr. and Mrs. Paul Feagan for friends of the bride and groom. And a family dinner party was hosted by the bride's uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Russel Kernighan and family. Ken Gray was the organist and special violin duets were played by Paul Earle and Geoff Nuttall. For the occasion the bride wore a white silk gown that featured chiffon sleeves, accented with hand ap- pliqued lace. To complete her outfit, the bride wore a white picture hat, trimmed with lace to match herdress. She carried a bouquet of silk flowers of pink roses, burgandy carnations and white baby's breath. Leena Ribeiro of Mississauga was the maid of honor. She was dressed in a gown of pink polyester, featuring lace sleeves and bodice. A pink picture hat, accented with a large pink rose and veil completed her outfit. She carried a bouquet of sky blue lilies, pink and yellow verbena, baby blue carnations and white baby's breath. (Jack Doerr photo) Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Jones The bridesmaids were Karen Boggs of Mississauga, Peggy Jones of Clinton and Sandra Maggs of London. They wore dresses identical to themaid of humor. Steven Jones of Thorndale was the best man and guests were ushered into the church by Tom Colquhoun of Clinton, Paul Earle of London and Brad Morgan of Bayfield. Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the Komoka Con9nrunity Centre and tables were decorated with 'vases of floating pink carnations. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Garnet Diehl of Holmesville and the !ride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Montgomery of Clinton. Rev. James Bechtel and Rev. F.P. Howard -Smith, a brother-in-law of the bride, both conducted the double ring ceremony. Cathy Potter provided the special organ music and Deb (Siertsema) Postma was the soloist. The bride's gown was sewn by her mother. The floor - length .dress was . made of sheer -over satin and ex- tended into a train. The gown was. av ented with lace and pearls and a fingertip' veil was held in place by a dainty lace headpiece:. The bride carried a bouquet of pink tinted tiger lilies, lily of the valley, white roses, white stephanotis, pink baby's breath and trailing baby's breath. A sister of the bride. Leslie Montgomery of Mississauga was the maid of honor. She wore a crepe deep mushroom pink colored dress, fashioned with a full skirt flowing from a high waistline and cape sleeves. The bridesmaids, Miss Louann Nicholson of Clinton, a friend of the bride; Mrs. Michelle Durand of RR 2, Bayfield, a friend of the bride and groom, and Brenda Diehl of Holmesville, a sister of the groom, were dressed in gardenia pink gowns. They were styled after the maid of honor's dress and.. the ,attendants carried bouquets of white gardenias, dusty pink anemone, pink baby's breath and trailing pink ribbons. The Reverend Marvin Barz of Berea -by -the -Water Lutheran Church in Goderich performed the ceremony. Also taking part in the service was Dr. Remkes Kooistra, University of Waterloo campus ministry. Lori is the daughter of Ken and Shirley Keller, 198 Widder Street, Goderich. Rob is the son of Mrs. Anne Maaskant, RR2 Clinton. Attending the bride were Laurie Becker as maid of honor, a friend of the bride from Trenton; Caroline Baker, cousin of the bride, Windsor; Karen Cail, friend of the bride, London; and Becky Peters, friend of the bride, Elmira. The groom's attendants were Iain Lambert as best man, a friend of the groom from Guelph; Chris Brooks, friend of the groom as usher, Clinton; and Charles Maaskant and Hugo Maaskant, brothers of the groom, as ushers. Organist was Cathy Potter, RR2 Clinton. Special music was supplied by Rick Baker, cousin of the bride, Windsor, and Janice MacKay, Windsor. Following a brief honeymoon in the area, the couple left for an extended tour of Europe. On their return to Canada in late November, Lori and Rob will be living in Waterloo where Rob is in his final year of civil engineering at the University of Waterloo. Shrier, Goderich; and at a couple's night hosted by lain Lambert and Hugo Maaskant at the Maaskant farm. Lori was the guest of honor at three miscellaneous showers. Becky Peters entertained at her London home for classmates of the bride from the graduating class from the University of Western Ontario's Bachelor of Science (nursing) program. Mrs. John Maaskant, RR2 Clinton, opened her home for a shower given by the Maaskants for friends and relatives. Mrs. Elaine Keller and. Mrs. Kathy Keller, Dashwood, were co - hostesses for a shower for friends and relatives. Mrs. Anne Ma askant entertained the bridal party and the families of the bride and groom at her home following the rehearsal.
