MITCHELL - Despite
threatening weather on all
four days, the 127th version
of the Mitchell Fall Fair
attracted many visitors.
According to fair president
Russell Miller, the fair had
fine crowds on Saturday,
September 5th and Sunday,
September 6th with over
3,000 people watching the
tug -o -war and demolition
derby on Sunday.
Mr. Miller said that
despite wet grounds which
resulted in the cancellation
of the western show on
Friday night, the crowds for
the evening were down only
slightly compared to last
year.
