first turn. In this case,
Bumpety Bump with Bev
Maguire up had finished
third but were disqualified
and placed last for in-
terference. Ray McLean won
the race with I;Iughie,. while
Randy Henry who- had 'also
managed to stay out of
trouble with Sunrise Bingo
'for Douglas. Kerr • of
Dungannon, was seeond.
Marlyss Check, owned by
Ron Kerr of Goderich with
John Muir driving was
placed third, while J. A.
Delight, with Dennis Jewitt
up for Wayne Horner of
Clinton, was placed fourth.
•Ray McLean also, won the
third race with Chester Mac
Gordon for George Van Den
Tempel of Stratford, but the
judges again ruled that
second place finisher John
Roger, owned . by Robert
Leitch of Dutton and driven
by John Muir had interfered
and he was placed sixth.
Charlie Windsor, owned by
Charles, Allan and Ken
Shelton of Goderich and
driver Jack Duckworth were
moved up to second, with
first time starter Yankee
Deb getting third. Randy
McLean drove the four-year-
old mare by Sudden Yankee -
Claybrook Carmel for
partners Delmer Bedard and
Gordon Kerr of Goderich.
Bob Vanstone of Benmiller
was placed fourth with
Benmiller Flash.
Fred Sadler won the fourth
with StorminSally, owned by
Janet Sadler of Parkhill,
while Bob Vanstone finished
third with his " Dainty
Meadow and Ron Williamson
was fourth driving Hopeful
Pat for Dale Kennedy, and
Gord Dick of Seaforth.
Everlin picked up her third
straight win at Goderich and
her fourth from - seven
lifetime starts this yearfor
owner -trainer Cliff Walsh of
Brussels. Her driver, John
Muir also received a pair of
driving gloves donated by
Lambs Auctioneering of
Goderich.
Ray McLean was third
with Noble'Amy for Koop De
Groot of Goderich, while
Randy McLean was fourth
with Ames Shadow for Jean
and Ben Feagan of Goderich
and Deep Run Super, owned
by driver Ted and Alma
McLean of Goderich took
fifth.
Fred Sadler had his second
winning drive in the sixth
with Quick Press for Nor-
man Romphf of Parkhill and
Mervil Johnson of Stratford.
Randy McLean was second
with Swift Honey for Ron
McBride of Goderich, while
Ray McLean finished third
with Sing Outs Hope for
Harold Eyre of Dublin.
Randy Henry was fourth
with Countess Karen for
tarry Gorman of London,
while Arnies Star Queen,
owned by Harry Beaver of
Exeter, was fifth for driver
John Muir.
Huron Skipper, a four-
year-old gelding by Scram -
Robin Top by Timely Topic,
had his second win this year,
timed in 2:08.1 with Bill
Woodburn up for his father
Lisle of Parkhill. He took a
2:06.1 record earlier this
year at the same track.
Clarence Young was able to
return, after his mishap
earlier in the evening, to
drive Lucan Boy to a fourth
place finish in this race,
while Ray McLean was fifth
• with ,Josie DOo Little for Bill
Bradley of Goderich.
Keith Coates of Centralia
won the eighth with Hilea
Ray, which he owns in
partnership with Whitney
Coates of Exeter. His time of
2:07.1 was a new record.
Randy Henry was second
with Arrochar Ruth for
Arnold Doak of Goderich,
with Ray McLean third with
Scarlet Dakali for Harold
Eyre of -Dublin. Ensign
Duke, owned by Ron Kerr of
Goderich with John Muir up
took fourth, followed by
Gerry Roebuck driving
Towerline Cricket for
Catherine McCutoheon of
London.
R. W. Thorn won the tenth
in 2:11.1 for the Wayne
Florner Stables of Clinton
with Dennis Jewitt on the
bike. The six-year-old
gelding by Hawthorn - Allie
Ben by Uncle Ben took a
2:05.4 record earlier this
year at Windsor. Bill Ger-
man of Goderich finished
fourth with his Highland
Classic, while Jack Duck-
worth was fifth driving
