Once finished, this is how designer Nick Hill envisions the
library park -cenotaph area will look, complete with planters,
benches, and decorative lighting, along with brick paving. Work
has already been started by sub -contractors of Lavis Con-
struction of Clinton, the general contractors. Cost for this area is

8. Town Hall car park landscaping

fence. Total cost for this - phase is $10,060, with all projects to be

This sketch shows the present core area and the location of the
changes being done under the Business Improvement Area.
Number four is the library park, five is Ontario Street, six is the
fire hall parking lot, seven is Isaac Street -Victoria Street cor-
ner, eight,is the town hall parking lot, nine is the town hall alley,
and number ten won't be carried out. Total cost for the six
projects is $67,000. The total cost of the project is being paid for
by the downtown merchants through an assessment on their

5. Huron Road landscaping
To try and soften the harsh look of the approach to Clinton's
_ main intersection from the east, eight large trees will be planted
along the south side of Ontario Street behind the Victoria Street
