Cheryl and Leisa Thomp- son spent the weekend with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Thompson, while their parents Jim and Sheila Thompson attended two weddings and receptions for friends of Jims, Floyd Johnston and bride on Fri- day evening and Don Camp- bell and bride on Saturday. A number of children from the area were attending Bi- ble School in Londesboro last week. 1: Tourism booms in Goderich GODERICH - Tourism has increased in Goderich this year and according to figures at the local tourist information booth some 6,280 people have registered so far. This figure is up by about 1,000 over last year and the good Weather, the amount of advertising done by the tourist committee, and the attractive gasoline prices and monetary exchange rates for Americans are cited as the major reasons for the increase. The pioneer museum and the jail continue to be popular tourist attractions, walking and bicycling tours of the town have become popular, and flea markets and garage sales are also attracting the vacationing crowd. t
