The tickets for the bar-
becue on Saturday night are
going well, but there are a
few left. These are available
at the bar, so if you want to
go, better get yours now. The
cost is $4.50 for the dinner
only, or $8 for the dinner and
dance. Food will be served
from 5 till 8 p.m. and the
dancing will be from 9 until 1
a.m. It's always been a good
deal in The past, so don't miss
out this year.
The golf tournament is
progressing nicely. Don
Armstrong is still in the
ruzlning and is scheduled to
play the winner of a match
between Doug Macaulay and
Art Burt. On the other side of
the board, Brian Reeves is
waiting to play the winner of
a match between Bill Cox
and Bruce .Bartliff. The
winners of these events will
play off for the overall
championship.
There is a mixed dart
tournament coming up at
Branch 109, Goderich on
August 22nd. Players will
register at 11:30 on that day
with the tourney starting at
noon. They will accept a
maximum of 24 teams into
the event, so if you're in-
terested, better pick up an
entry form and sign-up now.
Teams must consist of two
men and two women, and the
entry fee of $20 per team
must accompany the entry.
The Warrior's Day parade
in Toronto will be upon us
before we know it, so start
planning now. If you plan to
attend, or enter any events,
you'll find all the in-
formation you need on the
bulletin board at the branch.
Plan to drop in and look the
situation over.

seemed to enjoy themselves.
The overall winners of the
game were Thora McCabe
and Don Armstrong. Jan
Divok and John Semple won
the award for the most
honest players (I guess that
refers to the score card) and
Jean Bartliff and Phil
McCabe were the youngest
team. The oldest team (and I
may get into trouble for this)
was Maxine Aiken and Bruce
Bartliff. A barbecue and
social gathering at the
Semples afterwards was also
enjoyed by everyone.
This is probably a good
time to mention that there
will also be a fun tournament
at Seaforth on August 8th.
The cost is $6 per person and
a social evening afterwards
is planned.* Contact Don
Armstrong for details. The
proceeds from this event will
go to the Hospital Building
Fund.
