graduating class. She
received her Bachelor of
Arts degree with Distinction
and the French
Ambassador's Prize for
French at M.S.V.U. hi 1980.
Debbie has accepted a
position as a teacher of
French at Herring Cove Jr.
High School, Halifax County.
She is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Don Kyle,
Amherst, N.S. and the
granddaughter of Mr. and
Mrs. D.E. Kyle, Kippen and
of Mrs. Alice M. Thiel,
Zurich.

accident while working and,
is hospitalized.
Mrs. Steve Pine and
children are holidaying with
Mrs. Grace McBride.
Steve Pine attended the
funeral of Stewart Baird last
week.
Mrs. Johanna Kaake,
Wroxeter, visited relatives
in thearea.

she has accepted a job in the
hospital.

where he preached at St.
Pauls

of Owen Sound spent the
weekend with their son, Mr.
Rick Burdge and Mrs.
Burdge and family.
Mrs. Oscar Olness of
Grand Falls, Minnesota and
Mrs. Howard Hall Erin
visited with Mr. and Mrs.
Ivan Wightman last week.
Sunday visitors were Mr.
and Mrs. Jim Brigham and
Jennifer of Blyth, and Mr.
and Mrs. John Gears of
Waterloo.
The community was sorry
to hear of the sudden death of
Mrs. Mary Haugh and
sympathy is expressed to the
family.
