Elaine Pym at the Stratford
O.M.A.F. office at 271-0280
(Zenith 3a0a0).
It's going.. to be a great
summer for the students who
are working on Agricrew,
full of fun as well as work.
Since the purchase of the Ball Funeral Home from Mr.
4 'larence Deno mme and the late Mr. Mac Cameron in .lune
ti;' we haw continued to use the Ball name which has
beenconnected with this business and with this com-
munity for the past sore .
However due to the necessity of becoming an in-
corporated company it is now necessary to change the
name to some degree. Being that 1 am a•traditionalist 1
feel that we must retain the Ball name because of what it
ha'. meant to many families over the years. and also out of
respect to the Ball family from a fellow funeral director. .
Thusly on stun I. 19K1 our 'new, name will be the Ball &
Falconer Funeral Home Limited. in keeping with .luny Ist
which was the beginning of our nation it is our hope that we
.:ire starting a new generation of valued traditions to add to
those of the Ball's and their successors.
Finally in closing l' leave these few thoughts. This week
. has seen the passing of a truly great Canadian. F:ach one of
us has been touched by the life of Terry Fox. %s we
p.• celebrate the birth of our nation this week may all of us
1, remember Tem and his family in our hearts. and may
Term's dreams and aspirations live on in each one of us
and in the generations to come.
