year program of study in
Aerospace Engineering
Technology at Ryerson
Polytechnical Institute,
Toronto. Convocation exer-
cises for the Technology
Division were attended by
Jim and Leona Armstrong,
Brussels; Miss Lynne Shore,
New Hamburg and Mrs.
Leila Johnston. Robert has
accepted a position in the
Engineering Department at
Bell Aerospace Canada,
Grand Bend, as a design
draftsman.
Area
clans meet
MacArthur reunion
Thirty-eight members of
the MacArthur clan met at
the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Robert M. Bell for their
annual reunion. Members
attended from Toronto,
Victoria, B.C., London,
Kitchener, Blenheim,
Exeter, Hensall, Zurich and
Manitoulin Island.
Following dinner, sports
were conducted by Evert
and Joan VanSligpenhorst
and Bob and Marlene Bell
were -the hostesses.
Next year the reunion will
be held at the same place
with Dave and Mavis Hall of
Toronto and Bill and Donna
Knight of Blenheim on the
committee.
Campbell reunion
The Campbell reunion was
held at the Lucan Com-
munity Park on Sunday with
85 attending.
After dinner, the sports
were conducted by Greg and
Launda Campbell and Fred
and Susan Campbell.
The new president for next
year is John Rowcliffe, and
Bonnie Rowcliffe is
secre ta ry.
Wins $1,000
Monday was Karen
Baker's lucky day. The
Clinton woman was the
grand winner of a $1,000
jackpot at the weekly Clinton
Monster Bingo.
Judy Schaefer travelled
home to Mitchell $190 richer
when she took the share -the -
wealth prize and Donna
Deer, also of Mitchell won a
second share -the -wealth
valued at $165. The third
special game worth $178.25
was split between Linda
Anstett of Brussels, Edith
Campbell of Hensall and
Dave Deer of Mitchell.
In regular $50 game in-
dividual winners included
Marg Trevena of Clinton,
Agnes Appleton of Exeter,
Mryna Waterfield of
Goderich, Marilyn Morley of
Goderich, Millie Johnston of
Nile, Rose Elliott of Mitchell
and Betty Switzer of Clinton.

STRAWBERRY SPECTACULAR
It's Strawberry Season, and the good news
is that these sweet, juicy berries are low
in calories, (one cup, unsweetened equals
about 60 calories), low in sodium and high
in vitamin C.
Choose berries that are medium in size,
bright red Th colour, and free of bumps
and bruises. To preserve their freshness,
store without rinsing on a loosely covered
shallow tray in the .refrigerator for up to
three days. Rinse strawberries gently just
before using.
STRAWBERRIES ROMANOFF
2 pints strawberries
8 ounces vanilla ice cream
1 cup whipped cream or whipped
topping, juke of '/2 lemon
3 tablespoons orange liqueur (optnl.)
Wash, hull and chill berries. Soften ice
cream slightly, whip until fluffy. Fold in
whipped cream and lemon juice. Add
liqueur. Spoon sauce ver berries. Makes
6 servings.
