ball game played on the
front lawn with the
Orderlies, who were dressed
in dresses challenging the
Engineers plus their rein-

female staff. The score 7 - 7
did not prove the superior
team but it was a lot of fun to
watch and we thank all the
staff who played, Dick Kloss

Mr. Lester who was base
umpire. The seventy

Dear Betty:
Took your advice and dropped in at G.G. Geottler in Dublin, It was fantastic to find so
much, so close to home, and oh the prices!!! Henry is in a real snit because I went a little
haywire on my spending. I just couldn't resist all that beautiful furniture and those
accessories. By the way, you'll never guess who I ran into there. Heather, yes Heather;
she said she and some of her friends often come up from London specifically to go to
Geottlers.
Why don't we meet there on Saturday? I want a few more things before. June 30th
when the darn sales tax hits us again. We could then go to the good old Clothes Closet in
Goderich. I've looked everywhere for a dress for the wedding next week and as usual I
always end up at the Clothes Closet. By now I should be part owner, I just can't resist
their beautiful clothes. I've heard they too have customers from London and Stratford,
and I believe it.
We've saved so much money since the guys insisted we stop phoning each other and
start writing, that we could probably make an evening of it and have another great meal
at the Hotel Bedford in Goderich. Remember the last one, I had to diet for three days.
Must rush, Janie is crying. See you Saturday.
