Paul is the son of Lorne and Blossom Garrow of Clinton. He is presently working in Snow Lake, Manitoba with The Great Gold Company from Colorado. Brucefielders hold outdoor church service The Brucefield-Kippen outdoor service was held Sunday morning at 11 a.m. at the Hensall Park with Rev. R. McMullen conducting the service. The combined choirs sang several num- bers, assisted by the ukulele band. After a bountiful lunch the sports were held with David and Sandra Turner, Bob and Gail Turner from Kippen.. Bob and Mary Fotheringham and Mervin and Evelyn Falconer from Brucefield in charge. Results were: mmning races under five, Candace Cooper, Jennifer McMullen, Dana Turner; girls 6 - 8 years, Melody Turner, Lois Ann Lostell, Cheryl Turner; boys 6-8 years, Brad Daveys, Ben Rathwell, Steven Lostell; Girls 9 - 11, years, Kathy Rathwell, Jackie Bell, Janice Moffat; boys 9 - 11 years, Darryl Faber, Robbie Charters, Jason Turner. Girls 12 - 14 years, Lori Consitt, Missy Caldwell, Shelley Finlayson. Boys 12 - 14 years, David Moffat, Scott Townsend, Robert mill; young ladies race, Beth Constitt, Beatrice Fleming, Jean Rathwell; young men's, Bob McMullen, Lloyd Lostell; youngest baby, Paul Robert Cooper, oldest person, James McNaughton; guessing what's in can, Bob Kinsman, Janice Moffat; find your husband, Eileen and Alex Townsehd; Donna and Ross McBeath. Several relay raceswere run and the sports finished with a candy scramble and treasure hunt Next Sunday, church will be at 10 a.m. and the decoration day service at Baird's cememtery at 2 Personals Congratulations to Miss Wendy Mustard, who graduated from St. Thomas Hospital on Friday. Wendy is spending a few days with her father, Mr. Aldie Mustard. Miss Betty Boyce of Toronto visited over the weekend with Miss M. Swan and Mrs. A. Ham. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dalrymple and Mrs. Grace McBride, Kippen visited with Mr. and Mrs. Rob Marshall and family in Collingwood for a few days last week. On Sunday afternoon May 31st, °a bridal shower was held for Cheryl Webster at the home of Norma McGregor aunt of the bride - The guests were received by the bride's aunt, who received the gifts for Cheryl Assisting the bride were her mother, Mrs. Elva Webster of Varna and her future mother-in-law, Mrs. Lois Sproul of London Tracy Devine, niece of the groom, presented the gifts to Chryl, while Karen Devine, sister of the groom and Linda Webster, sister of the bride, made a hat with bows from the gifts.
