The Famous People
Players will be performing
at the Goderich and District
Collegiate this Saturday,
June 6 at 8 p.m. The tickets
are sold out thanks to the
many people who helped sell
them..
This International Year of,
Disabled Persons Project
has been endorsed by both
the Huron County Board of
Education and the Huron -
Perth County Separate
School Board. A new sound
system has recently been in-
stalled in the auditorium
which was timely for this
event. The sound system is
courtesy of the Goderich
District Collegiate and the
electrical department.
The Goderich Venturers -
Scout Movement of Canada
have volunteered their ser-
vices to usher that evening.
Due to the special re-
quirements of Black Light
Theatre the doors can only
be opened between acts. We
are asking that those atten-
ding be seated prior to 8 p.m..

director and founder of the
Famous People Players will
be coming to Wingham on
Rotary
plans auction
GODERICH.-Te Goderich
Rotary Club will undertake
one of its biggest projects
when it stages its first an-
nual charity auction on June
13.
Every - cent raised at the
auction will be given over to
community service work and
various charities and Jack
Riddell MPP for Huron.
Middlesex will be the guest
auctioneer.
The club is relying in local
residents and business
people to donate or consign
items for the sale and
already many articles have
been donated including
tables, stereos, bathroom
fixtures, carpeting, elec-
trical equipment and
household appliances in-
cluding
ncluding fridges and stoves.
Both new and used items will
be auctioned and so far a
ear, truck, boat, trailer,
mini -bike and various an-
tiques have been consigned.
