The Recreation Centre in
Holtnesville was a busy
place Saturday evening with
the Clinton Hospital Dance.
Everyone enjoyed dancing to
Lincoln Green. Lunch was
served to end the evening,

in the Community Centre in
Holmesville.
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence
Perdue spent the weekend
with their daughter Joyce

game of slopitch is played.

spoke to the congregation in

Mrs. Marty Lobb and Jackie
Norman took the solo part in
the anthem the choir sang.
Rev. McKay told the
children about his dog and
showed pictures of dogs. He
told them that the bull dog is
noted for his tenacity,
German shepherd for his
faithfulness, Lap dog is
gentle and kind. Topic for his
sermon was What is your
Life. Harold Yeo and J n
Lobb received the offering.

CAGE
wants to know
When was thelast time you
attended a meeting of the
Huron County Board of
Education, or do you even
(mow when they are held?
Huron County's Citizens
Action Group for Education
(CAGE) reminds everyone
that the board of education
meet on the first Thursday of
each month, at 2 p.m in their
Clinton board offices. The
meetings are open to the
public and a 15 minute
question period is held for
the benefit of the public.
At a recent executive
meeting CAGE members
noted that their meeting with
the board of education
executive hal been suc-
cessful, and would help to
establish better com-
munication with the public.
CAGE is now making
plans for their second public
meeting which will be held
later in the month. They are
also setting up an in-
formation booth at the
Clinton Spring Fair on June 5
and 6. Memberships will be
available and information
regarding the Secondary
Education Review Project
SERP) will be given out
Commissioned by the
ministry of education a little
over a year ago. SERP
allows the general public to
continent on the education
system_ The final deadline
for the survey is June 30. 1961
and all remarks. comments
and suggestions must be sent
to the ministry by that time.
Copies of SERP are
available to all high school
students and their parents.
