Firstly. C. Wall, the District Service Officer, will be visiting our area in the near future. If you wish o see Mr. Wall, please ge in touch with Hal Hartley can set up an interv' for you. You must, howe , contact Hal before Friday night as that is his deadline. Legion tee-shirts are being offered for sale, and again you only have until Saturday to get your order in. A list and description is posted on the bulletin board just Inside the door at the bar and unless you put your name on it, there is no chance' of getting a shirt. The tee-shirts themselves are quite at- tractive, navy blue in color With gold thin Thehunt-has the Legion crest and Clinton Branch 140 on it and they are available in both men's and ladies' es sizes. Cost is only5. S The order is slated to go in the first of next week and the shirts should be back by the end of May. Mixed darts seems to be one of the few organized activities still going on at the Legion, especially since men's euchre has finished for the season. Last week, Phyllis Butler won the ladies' singles, and Terry Hollingshe'ad the men's singles. Madelon Yeats and Joyce Scott won the ladies' oubles, while John Scott and John Greidanus won the men's doubles. Miss Forrester will perform a program that ranges from Schubert, Brahms and Debussy to folk songs. This famous artist has been heard in opera and con- certs around the world. A native of Montreal, she has appeared with the Berlin Philharmonic, Metropolitan Opera Company in New York as well as with the Toronto Symphony and the National Arts Centre here in Canada. She has made numerous appearances on television and has made many recordings. In January 1978, she had the distinction of being the first major -soloist to appear in the People's Republic of China while touring with the Toronto Symphony.
