awarded at year end
One of the Most successful
seasons ever for the Clinton
Minor hockey Association
ended on Sunday when 3,i
kids and adults attended the
banquet held at Central
Huron Secondary School.
There were 170 children
registered in the hockey
program this year, one of the
(aghast numbers ever, and
on Sunday they were
honored when every boy
received a toque and a color
picture.
George Townsend was
installed as the new
president to replace Don
Wright, who was honored for
his two year's service.
Don said the sucess of the
programwas due to the,.team, _
effort from the directors and
coaches, executives. hockey
ds up
moms and dads and the
arena staff and rec board.
The association showed a
healthly $1,200 surplus going
into the new fiscal year.
Mr. Wright also thanked
Fairholme Dairy, Pepsi
Cola, the CRSS cafeteria,
and custodian Bill Falconer
for their help with the
banquet.
