Trapper and his handler Constable Glen O'Rourke of the Mount Forest OPP were successful in locating little Yvonne Marion Jantzi who had wandered away from her parents' farm in the Brunner area. The 21 -year-old child was playing outside and wan- dered off. It was feared that she had fallen in the creek which runs the length of the Jantzi farm. However, she was found by Trapper and Constable O'Rourke about three- quarters of a mile from the Jantzi farm. The girl was found, crying and soaking wet in an abandoned manure spreader. Trapper was able to pick up the child's scent from the air and Yvonne was soon found, quickly wrapped in the constable's coat and taken to a nearby house where she was reunited with her parents.
