The Senior Citizens Golden
Radars Club met in Clinton
on March .18 with president
George Rumball in charge.

the minutes, from the last
meeting and, Cecelia Edgar
gave .the treasurer's report.
While Leila Johnston was

reading.
Mrs. • Johnston reported
that a caitionhad been
sent to Dell Howes and it was
noted that Watt Webster had
been very busy visiting
members and friends in
hospital; at Huronview and'.

Forty-seven members
answered the roll call and
Omerine Watkins suggested
that for the April 22 euchre
party, each member should
make hall a loaf of sand-
wiches. The party will be
held at the Clinton Legion
and will raise money for the
Clinton Hospitalbuilding

social committee will in-

Nellie Nott.
After the meeting there
were 11 tables in play for the
progressive euchre match,
conducted by George Wallis
who was also treasurer at

grandchildren, Gary Black
of R.R. 4 Clinton and Peter
Black of R.R. 3 Cottam; and'
four great grandchildren.

read that the late Mr.
Rueger was the son of Daniel
and Elizabeth Rueger. He
was born on July 31, 1912 in

Mrs. Bertha Isabella
MacLennan died in Clinton
PublicHospital on March 17.
Mrs MacLennan was born
in Clinton to William McRae
and the former Isabella
Davidson. She later married
George MacLennan and the
couple . ran a grocery
,nosiness 3n Clinton and after
that Mrs. MacLennan
worked forA.T. Cooper.
She was predeceased by
her husband and parents and
is survived by several nieces
and nephews.
Rev. Norman Pick of-
ficiated at a private funeral
service from the Ball
Funeral Home last week.
Interment followed in the
Clinton Cemetery.

United Church met on March
23 with 21 members present.
Doreen Pick and Ruth
Jenkins led the devotions
and Helen Trewartha spoke
on Trinidad. Beatrice Welsh
gave the study and she told
of the young minister who is
doing missionary work in
Alberta.

behind getting the new organ
and in a few weeks the fund
raising drive they started
broughtin the $15,500
necessary to buy the in-
strument.

will be at the church on April
10 to give a special musical
recital for the community.
