facsimile and deposit it at any A&P Store. Winners must be
18 years or older.
2. No purchase is required. Enter each time you visit A&P. You
need not be present to win. Limit one winner per family.
3. Sweepstakes begins March 11, 1981 and ends April 4, 1981.
4. Entries will be drawn from each store to qualify as semi-
finalists for the top prize.
5. Winners will be chosen by a random drawing and notified
by A&P not later than April 14, 1981. Employees of A&P,
their advertising agencies and their Immediate families are
not eligible.
6. The trip prises must be used Thursday, May 28 through
Monday, June 1, 1981 ONLY. No cash alternatives or substi-
tutes will be made for trip winners. Grand Prize Winners
will depart from the nearest city served by Eastern Airlines

Hall and Mrs. Jean Lobb
chaired the meeting. Mrs.
Lobb welaneeted everyone
and a new member Bill
Roll call was taken by
Irene Cutknore and Fran
Powell gave the financial
statement. Blanche Deeves
gave the sick and card
report and Charlotte Mor -
man gave a report on the
lunch for the opening of the
Hall.
Seniors were asked to par-
ticipate in the Variety might
concert on March 11 and
Sam Wain and Ed Stiles will
represent the Seniors anal
Pictures are framed of the
Queen and Prince Phillip
and will be presented to
council by John Deeves.
Irene Cudmore will present
a large picture donated by
the Gliddon family to coun-
cil. This will be done at the
opening ceremony.
Correspondence was read
by Irene Cudmore and the
Enterprising Seniors have
been invited to attend a
euchre party on April 26 in
the Clinton Legion Hall by
the Golden Radar. Club of
Clinton. Proceeds will go to
Clinton Hospital building
fund. A gavel was donated to
the seniors and was accepted
with thanks. The neat
meeting will be held on
March 19.
Some members enjoyed
games of euchre while
others. tried their luck at
shuffleboard which proved
to be enjoyable by many.
At the next meeting Jean
Lobb will show pictures on
Ireland and Jean Perdue and
Marion Smith will be in
charge of the lunch.

March of Dimes and receiv-
ed $37 in donations. She
thanks all who donated to the

was noted that a crewel em-
broidery course will be held
in the Ontario Street Church
in Clinton on April 1 from 7-
lO p.m.
On March 24 at 7:30 p.m.
the Parties To Please Your
Purse will be held and on
April 6 the executive will
meet in the township hall.
A donation of $200 plus pro-
ceeds of Variety Night will
be given to • the Goderich
Township Council for land-
scaping the grounds at the
new Community Hall.
Marion Powell introduced
Marilyn Cox who showed
beautiful pictures of St.
Lucia, an island 241 square
miles in size, where she
worked last summer.
Mrs. Powell served
bananas as they do in St.
Lucia, cookies and coffee.
United news
A large congregation met
in Holmesville church last
Sunday morning for commu-
nion. The flowers placed in
the sanctuary were in
memory of -the late Bill Jer=
vis. The junior choir sang
and Rev. Scott explained the
service of communion to the
children.
For the beginning of the
Lenten period the minister
read the Sermon on the
Mount. He spoke about com-
munications and said the
place to take problems is to
the Lord's table where Jesus
will help solve them.
