The Bayfield Golf Course
is in new hands. and the club
house is undergoing ex-
tensive renovations.
Allan Hughes, the
president of the three-man
company that pnrcllBaed the
nme4hode layout, said in an
interview, last week with the
News-Reco rd that the
company, known as
Bluewater Golf Course (1960
Limited), is spending
thousands of dollars
renovating the club house.

licence.
Mr. Hughes of Brantford
and his two partners, Jack
Leea of Point Edward and
Harold Leckie of Sarnia say
they will reopen the 99 -site
camping ground adjacent to
the .course. Hesaid they
planned to have an open
house sometime in May.
"The course is in excellent
shape, and we don't an-
ticipate
very much this year." Mr.
Hughes said.
The new firm bought the
course from the Ron Sam -
ways family who moved out
before Christmas.

Anglican Church on Sunday
morning. Estelle Wise read
the epistle and Rev. William
Bennett talked about
mystery for his sermon. Ken
Wise and Don Middleton
received the offering.
This Sunday at 11:15 am, a
penitential service will be
held at St. James.
On Friday, the annual
Women's World Day of
Prayer service will be held
in the Trinity Anglican
Church in Bayfield. Dorothy
Croker of St. George's
Church in Goderich will be
the guest speaker. Everyone
is welcome to ai.2:_nr! the 3
pm service and a social time
will be held afterwards.
The St. James ACW will
meet at Lynda Steenstra's
home on March 12 at 2 pm.

returned home after spen-
ding two weeks -11t i her
grandsons, Jason and
Johnathon Hulls in Cornwall.
