high score with an 87, while
John Semple won the lone
hands, with 6 and Joe
Atkinson won the low spot
with a 52. The event had the
usual good turnout with 15

About $1,100 was raised for
the Saturday night ata the Clintonal timidto
Kinsmen's annual Las Vegas
Night.
Participants got play
money with their admission
ticket, and played games of
chance with it for the rest of
the night.
At the end of the evening
they could use the money to
bid on goods donated by area
merchants, and auctioned
off by Richard Lobb.

at the bonspiel by losing
every game they played.
They were cladding behind
their hands, however, as
they were presented a
cheque for last place. As it
turned out though, they
again proved themselves
true blue born losers as they
found out AFTER they got
home,ihat the cheque wasn't
signed. Well, John, maybe a
little more broom . practice
around the house will im-
prove your game neat year.

skip Percy Brown, led his
team of Mary Brown and
Gerry and Art Mountford to
victory when they took third

itself at Brussels on Feb.

nament, while Neil Elliott
and John Scott finished fifth
in the doubles contest. In the
singles, Neil Elliott qualified
by tying for second place,
and Don Armstrong
qualified by placing fourth.
