With dances on in Blyth and Hohnesville at the same time, I guess it was just a case of over -saturation. Everyone who was there, however, had a great time with plenty of room to dance. For disabled Men's euchre last week was also a flog, but that was unavoidable because of the storm, Those who showed up played as usual (not rain, nor sleet nor hail can totally stop a euchre night) but the night Will not count in the final tally. Darts also suffered from the storm with only nine peo- ple coming out, so everyone played round robin as a single. The single high win- ner was Neil Elliott with Brian Atkinson taking the single spot. Brenda Atkinson was high lady and John Scott was high man. "Mixed euchre had five tables out to a lively evening. The prize list was im- pressive and the results were: men's •high, Neel Flagg; ladies' high, Blanche Deeves; men's low, D. Chambers; ladies' low, H. Semple; lone hands, H. Hayter; lucky cup, L. Em- rnerson; birthday, J. Sem- ple; lucky chair, M. Hayter; and box of chocolates, 11. Semple. Everyone please take note that the . mixed darts will take place on February 277 so set that night aside now. Cottage wefts s'. are down GODERICH - Closed cot- tages are still a prime theft target in this area and police snowmobile patrols are uncovering more break-ins. Although the number of incidents are well below last year's tally, the Goderich OPP have been patrolling cottage areas and have discovered numerous break- ins in isolated earea.
