At the Legion
Two trump perforrners
By Steve Cooke
We had a couple of firsts
(so to speak) at the men's
euchre last week. Out of 16
tables that played, Gary
Alexander won the high lone
hands with 7, the highest
number for a single night yet
this year when he turned in
the lowest low score. It's
hard to get under a 40 so you
can probably look forward to
a prize at the banquet this
year. Don Armstrong took
the high some with an 85.
Darts next week is on
Thursday night, so make a
note now. Last week Joyce
Scott and Don Armstrong
turned in the low score, while
Brian Atkinson and that
stunning dark-haired lady of
his, Lloyd Butler won for
high score. Rosemary
Aralltrang won high. 4d4._
and Art Rise[y won high'
man.
Clinton had three teams
entered in the Zone cribbage
tournament and two of them
placed high enough to go on
in the competition in
Brussels on March 14th. Bill
Harris, Ed Deeves, John
Semple and Walter Snary
made up the team that
placed second, while John

for a bu ch of amateurs.
