Clinton III
4-H news
The first meeting of Clin-
ton III 4-H club was held on
February 4, 1981 at the home
of Mrs. Saundercock.
After repeating the 4-H
pledge, we welcomed our
new leader, Mrs. Joanne
Walker, and four new
members.
Our new officers are:
president Andrea Smith,
vice-president, Connie
Evans; secretary, Johanna
Van Diepen. We decided to
call the club the "Clinton
Clippers".
We talked about equipping
a sewing box and the dif-
ferent techniques we would
be learning. The girls paired
off and took each others
measurements to determine
their pattern sizes. We
discussed colour and the pro-
per styles for different figure
types.

In a supermarket parking
lot, a woman aimed her car
at a large space next to a car
in which another woman was

window and asked the other
woman if she could move her
car. "No," the other said, "I
can't drive either."
