ZURICH-- If the first event
marking Zurich's 125 years
of existence is .any in-
dication, 1981 should be an
uplifting year for the com-
munity. .
Under the cold and windy
conditions recently, about
350 students from Zurict
Public School, St. Boniface
School and Ecole Ste. Marie
sent skyward balloons noting
the event and asking that the
balloons' tags be returned.
The students watched the
helium filled balloons as they
drifted from the community
park in a northeast direction
and Zurich Reeve and Huron
County Warden Fred
F aberer : -said, sI - believe
there could have been no
more appropriate' way to
officially mark the beginning
of this anniversary year than
you the descendants of those
cultures that have been part
'of the community for the -125
years to do the honors-"
