This Saturday and Sunday
Hully Gully presents a DOU-
BLE HEADER WEEKEND
with House League racing on
Saturday and the second
Rough Country Rodeo on
Sunday.
Saturday's race will
feature a special trophy day
for House League racers.
Trophies will be awarded to
the winners of the day in-
stead of their weekly rib-
bons.
On Saturday Hully Gully
will feature a unique style of
motorized fun and excite-
ment as the three-wheelers
take to their own track.
Riders will be competing for
trophies and prizes on the
newly designed ATV track.
Racing action begins at
2:00 on Saturday and 11:00
on Sunday.
Sunset
Flight
Winners
It has been an active and
exciting week for the Sunset
members. On Tuesday,
Men's Night was held. Tony
Bedard was the low gross
winner, while John McGuire
won low net.
First flight winners were
Don Armstrong, Art
Dawson, and Brian Reeve.
Al MacDonald, Bob Dem-
psey and Bill Chisholm were
second flight winners and on
third flight, Jack Trebish,
Gary Armstrong and Gary
Chambers won.
The excitement continued
on Wednesday when a group
of ladies travelled to
Wingham to attend the
Wingham Ladies Tour-
nament. Congratulations to
Shirley Baechler for winning
low net.
Other winners were Marg
Smith, Dorothy Bourdeau,
Thora McCabe and Marilyn
Graham. Mary Lynn Telford
won the longest' drive for the
day.
Thursday night was
Ladies' Night at the Sunset.
On first flight, the low gross
winner was Joyce Bolton.
Chris Reeve and Rosemary
Armstrong were low gross
and low net winner,
respectively on second
flight, while on third flight
Joyce Scott won low net and
Dorothy Bogie low gross.
Jeanette Dutot, Gloria Burt,
Velma Haylow, Joan Barrie
and Ruth Geurts were fourth
flight winners.
The week ended with the
Listowel Couples Tour-
nament on Saturday. Low
gross winners were Tony and
Della Bedard, while Paul
and Shirley Baechler held
the second low gross. Other
winners were Chris and
Brian Reeve, Don and
Rosemary Armstrong, and
Stan and Ellen Connelly.
Just a reminder - the next
Two -Ball will be this Friday,
June 17, 6 p.m.
On the
greens...
Winners at last week's
men's night were: Ian Doig,
Moe Huard, Ken Swan, and
Mike Marion Dave Cornish
won the draw for a dozen
balls.
A good turnout at ladies'
night with 19 ladies out.
Carolanne Doig and Mary
Doig were winners.
On June 27 the Exeter
ladies are invited here.
Congratulations to Ian
Doig winning the Ironwood
Invitational on Saturday and
to Ken Doig Sr. who just
turned 55 in time to make the
Ontario Seniors Golf Team
and win an all expense paid
trip to Stouffville Ont. for the
championship.
