Passchler of i'r lyth, graduat with a Bachelor of Education degree on June 3 at Brock University, St. Catharines. Jo -Ann is a graduate from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Applied Science, majoring hi family studies. She has accepted a position at Hamilton District Christian High School, teaching special education and family studies. The graduation ceremony was attended by Mr. and Mrs. A. Passchler of Blyth and Mrs. K. Donevan of St. Catharines. Alexander J. (Sandy) Marshall of Blyth, son of Robert and Marj Marshall of Blyth graduated from Waterloo University with B.A.S.c in Chemical Engineering on May 28. He is employed at the university for the summer and will return to study for his Master Degree in Engineering. St. Joseph's CPTA The teachers and parents of Clinton's St. Joseph's Separate School held their final meeting for the year on May 25. After reports from the Secretary and Treasurer, a motion was passed to transfer the con- siderable funds accumulated this year, to next year's ex- ecutive. Gifts of appreciation were given to staff members Lin- da Kistner, Helen Van Bakel and Yaga Mclnnes who are leaving the school, and to the Secretary, Isabel Mitchell, who is retiring. A gift was also presented to the President of the C.P.T.A., Mary Garon, for her hard work and direction during the past year. Elections for the new ex- ecutive were held with the following results: President, Joseph Jankowski; vice-president, Joan Schoonderwoerd; past - president, Mary Garon; secretary, Truus Ten Hag; treasurer, Dorothy Van Steelandt; family life coun- cillors, Joe and Joyce Essery, Mary Van den Elzen; public relations of- ficer, Sheila Jankowski. A wine and cheese party made an enjoyable ending to a successful year. The new executive is looking forward to the challenges of next year.
