for his family Located on
the northside of Highway 22
between Richmond Street
and Wonderland Road, the
home is set at the end of a
quarter mile lane. It is
separated from Sunningdale
Golf Course on the 6th
concession, by a ravine,
woods and Medway Creek.
Mr. St. Louis explained
that each designer will be
dealing with a particular
room. They will make
cosmetic changes '\and work
with existing features in
their efforts to make the
room adaptable and at-
tractive to a 1980s family.
Mr. St. Louis will be re-
designing a bathroom.
Last year, Interiors '82
focused on the elaborate re-
design of the Labatt Estate
Mr. St. Louis noted that the
project showed elegance at
its finest, but this year's
designer showcase will
emphasize practical as well
as beautiful decorating.
Interiors '83 will be of special
interest to those planning to
redecorate or who live in
homes constructed during
the building boom of the
1950s.
Guided tours through
Brimstage Lane will be held
from May 18 to June 12. As
well, special events
scheduled at Interiors '83
include fashion shows, floral
demonstrations and designer
talks. An opening party will
be held next week. There will
also be a wine -tasting din-
ner, antique car shows,
musical performances and
other activities focusing on
1950's nostalgia. A gift shop
and food service area will
offer a Tight menu for lun-
ches and snacks.
