On behalf of the Directors, Associate Directors, welcome to the 129th Clinton Spring
Fair To our Secretary -Treasurer and members of the Huron Central Agricultural
Society, thanks for the endless hours devoted by them to the 1983 Fair My sincerest ap-
preciation.
Special thanks to local groups, merchants and governments for their continuing en-
courageinent. With this special support the work of so many volunteers becomes
gratifying.
I congratulate all exhibitors in the 1982 Fair and especially those who have been
recognized for their excellence as prize winners.
I encourage you to enter the 1983 Fair in as many categories as possible, keeping in
mind the Clinton Spring Fair is the Fair for you in 1983. May the Fair Days be sunny and I
plan to meet you there.

RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR LIVESTOCK
NO ENTRY -NO MONIES
1 ALL COMPLETED entries to be in to the secretary's hands by May 20. BE SURE TO
GET YOUR EXHIBITOR'S NUMBER. NO PRIZE MONIES TO UNREGISTERED
EXHIBITORS. All entry forms must be filled in properly before forwarding to the
secretary.
2 All Stock to be the bona fide property of the exhibitor.
3 All livestock statist be properly clipped and groomed.
4 All animals must be identified by pedigrees upon entering the ring.
5 Membership fee is $2.00.
111 A11 prize monies will have $2.00 deducted for 1983 membership.
7 No protest, no appeals, judging commences at 1:00 sharp.
8 In the absence of competition in any class, or if the stock shown be of inferior quality or
unsound. the judges will award such prizes as they think the animal deserves.
9 All stallions and purebred stock must be registered or eligible for registration.
10 The Society shall not be responsible for any Toss to an exhibitor. occasioned by fire.

1 1 Exhibitors shall, if required by the directors, make a statutory declaration that the
animal exhibited by them is exhibited in accordance with the rules and regulations of
the Society. In case of refusal, all prizes shall be forfeited.
12 No exhibitor can claim more than two prizes in any class.
13 All cheques must be presented by July 30, 1983, otherwise they will not be honored.
14 All animals must be in the ring within five minutes after the class is called: if not, the
class will be judged on time.
13 No exhibits to leave grounds before 5:00 P.M.
111 Only one prize paid one exhibitor for herd or flock.
