Happy Gang seniors meet
Good Friday
An impressive service was
held at the Londesboro
United Church on Good
Friday. Greeting and
ushering were Elwood and
Mark Mitchell. Lisa Duizer
was organist. Colin Swan
conducted the service.
At the Easter Sunday
service the greeters were
John Hoggart and Gordon
Shobbrook. Ushers were
Lisa Bosman, Lori Bromley,
Deanna Lyon and Janet
Wilts. Colin Swan welcomed
a large number of members
and visitors. He reminded
everyone that the stewards
have Songfest tickets for
sale.
Junior teachers were Ann
Adams, Donna Shaddick and
Cheryl Lyon. The soloist was
Harry Lear, accompanied by
Gail Fear.
Seniors meet
The Happy Gang Seniors'
meeting was held March 30
when they entertained 30
Blyth Swinging Seniors.
Rena Watt was at the piano
and president Beth Knox
welcomed all with a poem.
Audrey Thompson gave a
reading.
Lorne and Addie Bunking,
Bob and Audrey Thompson
were in charge of the en-
tertainment. Eleven tables
of euchre, one crokinole and
Scrabble were played. Card
winners were: ladies' high,
Hazel Reid; lone hands,
Nora Kelly; low, Vera
Hesselwood: men's high,
Clare Vincent: lone hands,
Jake McDougall: low•, Harry
Caldwell; lucky cups, Les
Reid and Vietta Hoggart.

The Council of the Corpoe-anon of the Village of
Myth will accept tenders top to rand including April
00 at 3:00 p.m. for the consider®tion to purchase
the following property: plan 0 port Lot 9, Queen
Street, West Slide, on whildt there exists e towo storey
brick veneer commercial buiiding commonly known
as the present site of the Canadian Omperia0 Bank of
Commerce, Blyth, Ontario. Lot is zoned Commercial.
The land and structure there erected, inclusive of
certain fixtures es listed: vault and vault door and
other fixed 'improvements such as counters, perti
tions and air conditioning units; is considered for
sale in an "as is" condition, on date of tender open-
ing. Certain fixtures and platforms will be removed
from the Masonic Lodge Room- Interested tenderers
may arrange to view the lend and premises by ap-
pointment with the clerk -treasurer of the village of
Blyth, at his convenience after Mor. 30. 1983. It is
understood that the said lot and the premises, there
erected or to be erected, cannot house any type of
financial business, whether private or branch of,
trading in the business of receiving for deposit, or
offering to loon money to members of the public at
large for a period of 5 years from date of occupancy.
The Corporation of the Village of Blyth will
assume that all the tenderers hove mode a visual in-
spection of the property and the structure there
erected, on receipt of any or ell tenders. Tenders to
include o certified cheque In the amount of 10°°.
The cheques will be returned to the unsuccessful
tenderers within 48 hours of the opening of tenders -
Date of closing to be 30 days from dote of accep-
tance of tender.
Legal costs such os survey, appraisal, or adjustments
to be paid for by the tenderer. The Corporation of
the Village of Blyth shall provide adequate in-
surance on the premises until closing -
