The Festival will open June 24 with Nobody's Child, detailing the struggle of two "horn children", destitute children from England, sent to work on Canadian farms early in the century. Nobody's Child will mark the professional debut of Janice Wiser Ian, a Guelph -area writer. Janet Amos has written, and will perform to the se- estivl to feature several new plays corns play of the season, My Wald Irish Rose, a lively journey through Ireland by a young woman and her elder- ly aunt m search of the family's roots. The committee hired the Gorden L. Goldie Co. Ltd., fund raising specialists, of 'Toronto. Norman Hayes, hospital executive director, ex- plained that the company will not be running the actual campaign, ..They will come in and do an initial survey and set up the campaign for The campaign itself will be run by volunteers from the community and will probably get underway in the fall. The hospital is hoping to raise between $400,000 and $600,000 in local donations toward a planned $1.4 million new wing to house outpatient and emergency services.
