In her presentatio:r to the students she shows a slide show with music as well as a display of many souvenirs of her trip.( Rod Hilts photo) Ca® ton 4 -IAC meeting The 4th meeting of the Clinton 1 4- Club was held on February 28 at Lori Livermore's. President Joy Taylor opened the meeting and members made an- tipasto, Middle Eastern stuffed vegetables, apple pie Greek -style and mint tea to top it off. When our food was cooking we went back to the living room and we looked over our books. Carol brought some food samples, she brought an eggplant, len- tils and chickpeas just to name a few. When we were finished we tried the food we made. Everything was good. The next meeting will be held on Monday, March 7th at Kelly Vodden's.—by Ellen Gower. The Hensall Three Links Seniors met on March 8 with Mrs. Eileen Rannae presiding An invitation from the Dashwood Good Companion Club to attend their meeting on April 18 was accepted and memrs are asked to be at the hall at 7:15 p.m. A donation to the Town and Country Homemakers was made following the business euchre was played. Miss Margaret Aikenhead of London and Mr. Gerald Aldwinckle of Dunnville spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Mae Wilson. Miss Brenda Broadfoot of Toronto spent the weekend with her parents Mr. and Mrs. R. Broadfoot. Mr. and Mrs. Ken Scott visited on the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Ron Scott of Willowdale. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Colwell of Wallaceburg visited on the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Don Moffat and family. Miss Michelle Colwell who has been visiting at the manse returned with therm. Mrs. Hugh Berry has returned home from London having undergone a cataract operation and visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Elliott. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Swan and family of London visited on the weekend with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Swan. The study of the "South Pacific Islands" was con- tinued with Mrs. Marlene Bell assisting the president m telling about the village life, immigration, tourism, special ceremonies and church services of the peo- ple. It was interesting to learn that the majority of the islands are now Christian and their lifestyle is based on Christianity. The members are remind- ed of the Presbyterial An- nual to be held on March 30 'in Seaforth. The next meeting to be held April 4, at ksS 8 p.m. when Rev. Barbara Laing of It ashw'I, s'•; will be the guest ser. The La les Aid meeting followed. Mrs. Jean Snell acted as secretary in the absence of Mrs. Margaret Hoggarth. It was decided to hold the annual 11.:zaar on November 5. Personals Mrs. Ross MacMillan of Waterloo spent Friday of last week visiting with her mother, Mrs. Laird Mic;. Best wishes for a speedy recovery are extended to Dr. John Goddard who has had surgery in Victoria Hospital.
