Beginning at 1:15 p.m. the meeting will be held at Fred Meier's farm in East W awanosh Township. Stas Cressman will be the guest speaker. Remarks will be made by from Gordon Bell and Dennis Martin After the cow selection, production awards will be presented. The County Club is also gearing up for the April 4 bus trip and tour of five Lambton County farming operations. The tour will include visits of Basil Stevens' Starlyne farms; Stevens Brothers, Blue Ridge Farms Limited; the Ralph Pool Farms; Silver Popular Dairy Farms, owned by the Core Brothers and Wayne Maw's, Maw Acres. The trip will get underway at 8 a.m. with the first pick up in W Ingham at Danny's Restaurant. Further stops will be made at: Belgrave intersection, 8:20 a.m.; Blyth Hotel, 8:35 a.m.; Clinton Arena, 9 a.m.; Bayfield Golf Course, 9:10 a.m.; Grand Bend, Highway 83 and 21, 9:30 a.m. The day will include a smorgasbord luncheon. The deadline for registration is March 28 and more information may be obtained from Don Watson, RR 4, Clinton. Future events and dates to remember include the Stratford Spring Show on April 9 and the Huron County Club Sale on April 13. The Clinton Spring Fair date is June 3 and a twilight meeting will be held on July 18. The London Fair will be coming up in September. The Tri County Show is scheduled for October 13 and Ladies' Night will be held on October 22 at the Goderich Township Hall. The annual meeting will be held on November 22 at the Brussels Legion Hall. The 191 Club executive includes: president, Wilbert Freeman, R 2, Gorrie; secretary -treasurer, Don Watson, RR 4, Clinton; past president, Bill Gibbings, RR 1, Clinton; first vice, Keith Johnston, Ri• 2, Bluevale; second vice, David Marshall, RR 1, Kirkton. A motion was made to pay $75 to the voting delegates and alternates who went to the O.C. A. Annual. Plans were discussed for the spring dance, summer tour and barbecue. President Bill gave a report of the date for the Federation of Agriculture Members of Parliament Meeting and The County Development Meeting. A Promotional Committee was set up with Ron Benett,t Keith Strang and Jack Flanagan being appointed Glen Coultes gave a report of the rsolutions at the O.C.A. Annual as Ron Renett reported on advertising.
