Stevenson yesterday showed the News - Record a picture of a group of bowlers who had been indulging in the pastime at the Clinton green on February 15, 1906. Most of the men are in shirt sleeves, just as they had been playing, and the sun was shining brightly. After a few games of bowls a few went over to Fair's pond and curled for a time. Kerr borrowed Mr. Fair's outfit in order to get down into Tuckersmith Township to perform the wedding ceremony for a young couple who have decided to take each ofh t for better or worse. We have not heard how Mr. Kerr succeeded but the pluck he displayed in starting out in the storm is a good guarantee that he got there. 100 Years Ago February 9, 1 It is reported that a certain female in Stanley Township, who expects to become a mother ere long. although she is not a mother, has entered suit for $2,000 against the young man concerned in the affair.
