card party on Friday even-

forward do seeing a profes-
sional potter at work, and
learning from actual
demonstrations and talks
about a variety of forms and
decorations possible. There
will be a notice posted so any
interested persons may be
able to attend the sessions
fora small nominal fee.
Story time at Holmesville Public School is a popular event for 3 and 4 year old children in the
community. Teacher-libarian Mrs. Marion Powell leads the class. The program is unique,
since mothers are invited to quietly sit in on the time, to observe their children in a learning

Morning Prayer at St.
James' Middleton Church
was well attended last Sun-
day with Rev. Geo.
Youmatoff in charge. The
minister spoke to children as
they gathered at the front of
the church, before going to
classes. John Deeves read
the lesson. The theme of the
minister's sermon was
Preparing yourself for Lent.

Deeves received the offer-
ing.
This Sunday, February 6th
Communion will be
celebrated at St. James' at
11:15 a.m.
Annual Vestry meeting for
St. James' Middleton to be
February 8 at 6:30 p.m. at
the Rectory in Bayfield with
a pot luck supper. Advance

Women's World Day of
Prayer Service for Bayfield
will be held at Trinity
Anglican Church this year. It
will be held March 4 at 2 p.m.
