Albert Bacon
dies
Albert George 1acon of
Belgrave died at the

Hospital on December 17 at
the age of 78 after a lengthy

England and came to
Canada in 1914. Mr. Bacon
first settled in Teeswater
and moved to this district in
1941. He worked as a farmer
and retired inl 5.
He was a member of the
Wingham Masonic Lo-. -:.e,
No. 286 AF and AM. The
lodge held a service for Mr.
• Bacon at the Currie -Walker
Funeral Home.
Mr. Bacon is survived by
his wife Verna Adeline
Breckenridge; his two
daughters Mrs. James
(Florence) Berglund of
Kamloops, B.C. and Mrs.
Maurice (Jean) St. Marie of
Surrey, B.C.; and his two
sons, George of Goderich
and Walter of Orangeville.
He is also survived by two
sisters and two brothers;
Mrs. Lillian Blanchard of
Sutton, Mrs. May Ross of
Stouffville; Robert of
Toronto (his twin) and
William of St. Thomas
• He has nine grandchildren.
Funeral services were
held at the Currie -Walker
Funeral Home in Whigharn
on December 20 with Rev.
John Swan of St. Paul's
Anglican Church in
Wingham officiating. Spring
interment will take place at
the Brandon Cemetery in
Belgrave.
