Death claimed one of Palmerston s
respected eitizens on Saturday morn-
ing, Oct. 27 last, in the person of Ala
Charles Bell, at the age of 05 years.
Mr. Bell had been a, great suirez.er for
the past two years, when death came
and relieved bite of his sufferings,
John Ferguson, it well-known resi-
dent of Lobo Township, died Sunday
at bis residence, lot 1.1. ton, 3, after it
long illness. Alr. Ferguson, who was
in his 31th year, was a native of
Lbbo and bad resided there all his life.
He leaves a wife to mourn his loss.
A telegram was received in Strat-
ford by Sam Robb, from Samuel Mc-
Ewen, of Cleveland, 0., announcing
that his brother Will, was drowned
Friday night. No other particulars
were given. The deceased left Strat-
ford some dozen years ago. His mo
ther and brother Samuel are the only
members surviving, both resid-
ing in Cleveland. A large number
of relatives reside in Downie town-
ship.
