Will Color Anything
Any Color.
The most wonderful helpers in the
borne to economical dressing are the
Diamond Dyes. They are so easy, to
use that even a child can dye a •rich
and perfect color with them.
Diamond Dyes make faded and din-

stockings, scarfs, laces and draperies
look like new.
Beware of dyes that claim to Color`
,cotton and wool with the same dye.
It is impossi ble to get satisfactory re-
sults from dyes of that character. In
DiamondDyes there are special dyes
for coloring all cotton and mixed goods
and special dyes are made for all wool
goods. Each of the Diamond Dye col-

A REMOUNT STATION IN CAN-
ADA,
Major Dent stated at the Directors
luncheon yesterday that since April 15
he tied spent in this country in the
purchase of horses for South Africa
about Half a trillion dollars. He fur-
thermore stated that he had recotu-
meuded to the British Government the
establishment of a remount station in
Canada for permanently supplying the
army with horses. The Government
has requested him to snake a report,
and,considering the Major's high opin-
ion of our resources in this line, it is
more than likely that his recommenda-
tion will be acted upon. When Major
Dent carne to Cauada, for remounts he
bad only the ordinary farmer's stock
to choose from, No previous effort
raisee particular
had been made to th p a tt lar
breed of horse required for remounts.
Let it be understood that there will
be a permanent demand for this breed
of horse and the War Office will have
little trouble in getting exactly the
kind of animal it wants, and about as
ntany of theta as it wants, No coun-
try in the world is better adapted for
horse raising than Canada, and be-
tween the Maritime provinces, Quebec,
Ontario and the Northwest the British
Government can obtain an almost un-
limited supply. It ought to pay the
farmers of Canada better to produce a
finished product like the horse than to
export their produce in the shape of
such raw materials as wheat, oats, bay
and the like, We trust this opportun-
ity for the establishment:of a remote t
depot in Canada will not he leen
If necessary the goverrinent ought to
interest itself in the matter and help
