They were in the act of haul- ing in barley, they had the load com- pleted and were coming to the barn. John calling for help Richard got extricated and relieved John from bis perilious posi- tion. John got a severe jam of the leg which will lay him up for a few days. -A. G. Pearson, of London, call- ed on friends in this vicinity on Satur- day, conning on his hike. -Mr. and Mrs. H.
