When the game was declared finished it was found. that theTinkers ' we " l victoriousso S by fair score. -The funeral of the late Mr. R. Service took place Monday after- noon. Service was first held at the Methodist church. The Rev. Mt'. Henderson officiated. The remains were interred in St. Marys cemetery. -Flax pulling has at last commenced, and all idle lebor is now being secured. This product is a good- crop this year and will yield abundantly to the acre. Clark & Co. are having 300 acres of their flax pulled by a band of Indians. -The Sons of Scotland are contem- plating the running of a three days' excursion to Sarnia in the near future.; The Scotchrnen Are apparently up -to• date and wide awake.
