TORONTO'S GREAT ExliinITION. -
The prize list for Toronto's great an-
nual exposition and Industrial Fair,
which this year will be held from Au-
gust 27th to Septeini er Sth, has just
,heen published. It shows some in-
crease in the premiums and giyes. evi-
dence of the minutest attention to the
promotion of the best interests of the
•country. H. J. Hill, the manager and
secretary, has been in Europe after
some special attractions and it is ex-
pected that he will be suecessful in se-
curing some features of the highest
class that have never before been seen
in any city or town in A enexica. Prize

who has been visiting with relatives in
Stratford, London and elsewhere, ar-
rived home in Woodham last week and

Avery pretty wedding took place at
the restdenee of Robt.Breen last Wed-
nesday, when his youngest daughter
was united in marriage to Wm. Mines,
of Grey. The ceremony was perform-
ed by Rev. Mr. Hartley, of 'Windsor,
and was his first ceremony of the kind
being only recently ordained, and all
join in saying that he performed his
part well and speak for him it brilliant
future as a rector. •
A.Norton the efficient young
teacher at S. S. No, 5, Mornington.the
school at Irishtown has resigned her
position there. She intends to attend
the Normal School in the fall, having
decided to make the teaching her life
work, Before school closed, for the
term the pupils gave tangible evidence
