The second. of the home -and -home
games, between Hensell and Seaforth,
in the western colts ourling league
competition, was played in Seaforth on
Wednesday last. The local players suc-
ceed in overcoming the lead obtained
by Hensall in the game last week by
nine points.

The Usborne Council are considering
the advisability of changing the Sta-
tute Labor System, by commuting the
labor, and having all work necessary
for road construction and maintenance
done under the direction of Road Oom--
roissioners. A. W. Campbell, Provin-
cial Road Commissioner will address a
meeting of the ratepayers at a. the
Township Hall, Elimville, on Tuesday
Feb. 20th at 2 o'clock, and explain the
methods adopted by other Municipali-
ties that have made the change.
