Two of Atwood's ministerial popu-

cently. The Rev. E. A. Fear met with
a painful accident Wednesday which
might have resulted in the loss of an
eye. He was passing tint of the door-
way when his face came in violent
contact with a stillyards hanging hard
by, the hook of which penetrated his
-face close to the eye and made an ugly
gash. The doctor was summoned,who
drew the wound together with several
stitches. It will be very painful for
sometime. The second case happened
on Saturday, July 8, in the family of
Rev, Mr. McLeod. It appears a bottle
of cascara was placed in a cup on the
sideboard by Mrs. McLeod for the two
children, Ernest and Blanche, who are
recovering from an attack of scarlet
fever. While her attention was taken
up with other duties one of the child-
ren transposed the cascara bottle with
one standing near by, containing bella-
donna, a deadly poison. They recov-

Paine s Celery Compound,
The Only Medicine That Be-
stows that Blessing of'
True Health.
Interesting Testimony from a
Cured Man.
If yon ba,ve entered into the oppres-
sive heat of midsummer and find your-
self suffering from dyspepsia, liver
and kidney troubles, pain in the back
and side, headache, insomnia and
stomach disorders, let, us urge you to
give Paine's Celery Compound a fair
and honest trial if you would be heal-
thy, strong and happy. We fully
realize the seriousness of your condi-
tion and with a desire for your physical
welfare we recommend Paine's Celery
Compound, the medicine that, is now
doing' such a marvellous work for
thousands of sufferers in our country.
If your doctor is unfettered by pro-
fessional etiquette, be will advise you
to use the great life giver. Your friends
and neighbors will be pleased to tell
you what it has done for thens in their
time of distress and agony.
Charles Comeau, of Neguac, N. B.,
tells of his terrible sufferings and his
cure by Paiee's Celery Compound, as
follows ;
" I can conscientiously recommend
Paine's Celery Compound to all who
maye
bsuffering frotn dyspepsia stncl
liver trouble. Por years, while living
in Bleck Brook, I suffered from a com-
plicatiou of troubles, and was so, bad
with dyspepsia, that I could not touch
a morsel of food. I found it difficult
to sleep, and what little I did get was
often broken with horrid dreams. In-
tense sufferings from liver complaint
added to my load of agony ; I also had
dizziness, pains m the back, and was
pale'
haggard and despondent.
"i kept doctoring and dosing with-
out deriving the slightest benefits, and
finally gave up all hope of getting
well. One day my daughter, who had
read of a wonderful cure by Paine's
Celery Compound, bogged me to try
one bottle of the Medicine. I told her
it was no use to throw away money,
but she pleaded so hard that to please
her I bought a bottle, and before it
was used op I felt better. Encetwaged
80 mateli,I continued with the medicine
end improved every day.
"I am now cured, thanks to Paine's
Celery Ciompound, You cannot won-
der that I consider Paine's Celery
Cloinpound the greatest medical dis-
covery in the world. 1 urge all who
are suffering to try this' grail& medi
eine and test its virtuee.

his cure by Milburn's Heart and Nerve
Pills the more remarkable frotn the fact
that he was given up as incurable by
worthy and respected physicians.
The disease, Locomotor Ataxia, with
which Mr. Archibald was a.filicted is
consiclered the most obstinate and incur-
able disease of the nervous system
known. Wiser: once ir starts it gradually
but surely peogresses, paralyzing the
loweraextremitias and rendering its vic-
tim helpless real hopeless, enduring- the
indescribable agony of se.etrag himself die
by inches.
That Milburn's Heart and Nerve Pills
can cure thoroughly and completely a
disease of such severity ought to encour-
age those whose cliscarclees are not so
serious to try.this remedy.
The following is Mr. Archibald's letter:

of Boston, told me that notiarsea coelci be
