A BLACKSIMITH9S STORYp
He Became so Run Down That Work
Was Almost Impossible—His 'Whol e
Body Racked With Pain.
From the Bridgewater Enterprise. .
Mr. 'Austin Fancy is a well, known
blacksmith living at 13akerSettlement,.
a hamlet about ten miles from Bridge-
water, N. Mr, Fancy is well known
in the locality in which he lives. He
is another of the legion whose restora-
tion to health adds to the popularity
of Dr. Williams' Pink Pills. Mr.Fancy
related his story of illness and renewed
health to a reporter of the Enterprise
as follows During the last winter,
owhig Isuppose to overwork and im-
pure blood, I •became very much re-
duced in flesh, and had seyere pains
in the muscles all over my body.
felt tired all the time, had no appetite,
and often felt so low spirited. that I
wished_ myself in another world.
Some of the time, necessity compelled
ine to undertake a little work in my
blacksmith Shop, hut I was not fit for
it, and after doing the job, would have to
ie down ;indeed Ioften fel ti ikefain tinge
I was advised to tryDr. Williams' Pink
Pills, and after using a couple of boxes,
I felt a dezided relief, The pains began
to abate, and I felt again as though
life was not all dreariness. By the
time I had used six boxes I was as well
as ever, and able to do a hard day's
work at the forge without fatigue,
and those who know anything about
a blacksmith's work, will know what
this means, Those who are not well
will make no mistake in looking for
health through the medium of Dr.
Williams' Piuk
Dr. 'Williams' Pink Pills care by
going to the root of the disease. They
renew and build. up the blood, and
strengthen the nerves, thus driving
disease from the system. Avoid imita-
tions by insisting that every box you
purchase is enclosed in a wrapper
bearing the full trade mark, "Dr.
Williams' Pink Pills foe Pale People."

W. Dawson, son of Mr. Dawson,
Prospect Hill, is engaged in the com-
mission business in Toronto, During
the winter and spring he attended the
evening sessions at one of the Business
Colleges in the city, while following
his usual employment. A short time
since he received his diploma, graduat-
ing second out of a large elass of
students. This is certainly an example
of what a young man can accomplish
by using his time and energies dis-
creetly. While other youths were
spending their evenings in idle pastime,
he was storing his mind with useful
knowledge and preparing himself for
a successful career in business life.
The present bas been an exceptional
season for milk fever amongst cows,
caused no doubt by the great flush of
grass. At the late meeting of the On-
tario Veterinary Association, Dr. Gibb
advocated a new system of treating
this disease. This was adopted by
Dr. Came of Kirkton, with the most
satisfactory results, 12 cases out of 13
treated by him having recovered, be-
ing a better record than Dr. Gibb him-
self has, his record being 8 recoveries
out of 10 cases treated. These result's
emphasize in a strong degreo the evi-
dent advantages of members of the
yarious professions and the public
generally meeting at regular stated
and convenient intervals for the pur-
pose of discussing the various subjects
coming in their own professional lines
under their immediate attention, and
such direct results as the one stated
cannot hut infuse new and vigorous
life into the Ontario Veterinary Asso-
ciation.
