THE APPLE CROPS.
The National Apple Shippers' Associat:ou
at Buffalo was well attended. About 100
delegates were present when President Wile
Munson calledthe members to order. The
session was secret. The most Important sub-
ject discussed was the crop report. Dele-
gates from the different States submitted
estimates of this year's supply. It was
stated that yield In the wrst would be
about 75 per cent. of the average. In New
York State 50 per cent.. and about the
same percentage In New England.
Until the present time the eastern sec-
tion of the United States has' grown the
greater part of the crop and governed the
market. Indications atlo
ns now are that the large
s
and best crops will be raised in Illinois,
Iowa; Missourl, Kansas and Arkansas. It
seems to be the general impression of the
men in attendance at the convention that
the prices will not be higher this year than
last.

Sarah Bernhardt fully appreciates

essential to artistic success is a vigor-

Hard and conscientious work in all

DEAR EDITOR. -Please • inform
your readers, that if written to confi-
dentially, I will mail, in a sealed letter,
particulars of a genuine, honest, home
cure, by which I was permanently
restored to health and manly vigor,
after years of suffering from nervous
debility, sexual weakness, night losses
and weak shrunken parts• I was
robbed and swindled by the quacks
until I nearly lost faith in mankind,
but thank heaven, I tun now well,
vigorous and strong and wish to make
this certain means of cure known to
all sufferers. I have nothing to sell
and want no money, but being a firm
believer iu the universal brotherhood
of man, I am desirous of helping the
unbrtunate to regain their health and
happiness, I promise you perfect

Good News From South .Uakota.
The glorious results of this season's
harvest of golden grain will pour a
stream of sound inoney into the pocket
of every Dakota farmer.
South Dakota has thousands of acres
of choice farming and ranch landlying
east of the Missouri river, and within
one day s ride front Chicago or Mil-
waukee . which can now be bought
reasonably cheap, but which before the
end of another year may be advanced
in price,
The stock -raising industry in South
Dakota is profitable, and Eastern capi-
talbeing n
t
is nowinvested in cattle and
sheep growing in that state.
Diversified farming, the growing 01
live stock, and the products of the
dairy, are placing South Dakota, fore-
most in, the ranks of the successful
Western states.
Those desiring full information on
the subject and particularly those who
wish to seek a new home or purchase

Nervous debility is a common com-
plaint, especially.amongwomen. The
best medical treatment for this dis-
order is a persistent course of Ayer's
Sarsaparilla to cleanse and invigorate
the blood. This being accomplished,
nature will do the rest.
You hardly realize that it is medi-
cine, when taking Carter's Little
Liver Pills : they are very small : no
bad effects ; all troubles from torpid
liver are relieved by their use.

UNDERTAKING A SPECIALTY.
An Old Resident, Well Known in This
County.
Mrs. Leonard Young, Mitchell, Ont.
says : 'Tor. a long time I have been
enable to walk except for a short dis-
tance because of shortness of breath.
My nerves were very much unstrung.
I also suffered a great Ileal with giddi-
ness and weak eyesight. I slept very
poorly, and was iu constant apprehen-
sion that something would happen. I
knew not what. Hearing that Mil -
burn's Heart and Nerve Pills were a
good remedy for ailments like mine, I
got a box from Mr. S. A. Hodge's drug
store here. The results following their
use have been marvelous. They prov-
ed beneficial to me in every way, re-
storing restful sleep, strengthening
my nerves, and enabling, me to walk
with perfect freedom.
My granddaughter, Airs. Seymons,
who lives two miles from here, has
alsow taken these pills for nervousness
and general debility, and they have
cured her, besides building np her
health and strength." (Signed) Mrs.
Leonard Young, Mitchell, Ont.

For six years I suffered front cancer. and got
